About Nina Cavalli-Björkman


Dr Nina Cavalli-Björkman is a senior physician and specialist in oncology at Uppsala University Hospital. In her book “Vård av våra sjukaste – Hur ska doktorn orka?”, (Care of our sickest – How will the doctor cope?), Nina Cavalli-Björkman brings warmth to the care of seriously ill cancer patients. Nina Cavalli-Björkman has become known to a wider circle through her chronicles in the medical journal Läkartidningen, where she generously shares her long experience as an oncologist.

Mogrenstiftelsen

The Mogren Foundation annually awards two prizes for human well-being, in medicine and classical music. The goal is to promote empathy and patient contact within healthcare and support young, promising musicians at the beginning of their careers.
