About Peter Berggren
Dr Peter Berggren is a district physician who has facilitated continuity and psychological safety for patients in remote areas. His work has, among other things, contributed to the development of new care models integrating advanced remote technology. This means patients can meet with a dietician or a CBT specialist using video conference technology and physicians can listen to heart sounds or take a remote look at the oesophagus.
Many physicians and nurses have attended the specialist trainings Dr Berggren has co-developed. Experiences with remote consultations in care has been exchanged with sister cities and primary care clinics in Australia and Canada.
