Johanna Rudström
Jury motivation: ”Johanna graduated from the opera programme at the Stockholm University of the Arts in 2014. She has also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Music and at the Malmö Academy of Music. In 2013, she participated in Vadstena-Akademien’s production of Marie Samuelsson’s Jorun snake in eye.”
About Johanna Rudström
Johanna Rudström graduated from the opera programme at the Stockholm University of the Arts in the spring of 2014. She has also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Music and at the Malmö Academy of Music. In the summer of 2013, she participated in Vadstena-Akademien’s production of Marie Samuelsson’s Jorun snake in eye.
Roles she has studied or performed include Sextus in The Clemency of Titus, Rosina in The Barber of Seville, Meg Page in Falstaff, the titular role in Cinderella, Octavian in The Rose-Bearer, the Composer in Ariadne on Naxos, and Dorabella in Cosi Fan Tutte.
